Silver plated Kinkeldey square flush mount with cut crystal inserts, Germany 1970. This classic, yet modern exquisite Kinkeldey ceiling lamp is fitted with 9 octagonal prism cut crystals. The crystals are meticulously cut in such a way that they radiate the light of the bulbs in different directions.
Dimensions: height 3.2 in. (8 cm), depth 7.1 in. (19 cm), width 7.1 in. (19 cm).

The fixture is equipped with three small Edison screw sockets (SES), (E17 14-17 mm) max 15 watt. Works in the USA. Wiring and the electrical parts are in good working condition. As electrical requirements vary from country to country, we recommend that you always have lights checked and installed by a local professional.

Though this lamp is originally intented as a flush mount it could be applied as a wall light too. This fixture will match very nicely with our round Kinkeldey sconces.

Kinkeldey is German manufacturer of high end lighting fixtures. The company attracted international attention when they won the prestigious IF Design Award in 1969 with a chandelier fitted with prism cut crystals. During the 1970s Kinkeldey produced a number of variations on this award winning model, like the ceiling light offered here. Though these lamps show the same quality as fixtures of companies like Bakalowits, Lobmeyer and Palwa, the Kinkeldey models tend to be more modern in their design approach.
