Offered a rare small table 'Acilio' by Alessandro Mendini for Zabro - Nuova Alchimia, Milan. A beautiful and stylish example of design from the Memphis group, the phenomenon from the 80s. Cast iron with wood-covered base, green lacquered. Chrome and black lacquered steel tube. A holder for a bottle in silver-plated copper rings on the first white shelve. The silver is not (yet) brushed and therefore a little brown. The first lacquered wooden shelve has a colored silkscreen on the bottom. The abstract image subtly reflects in the second shelve of chromed steel. Both shelves can turn.
 
Marked. Manufacturer Zabro - Divisione Nuova Alchimia with number: 017026 1985. In collaboration with the internal employees of Alchimia: G. Gregori, B. Gregori.
 
This is a very rare piece by Mendini, not more then about eight were produced. Date of manufacture: 1985.
